My name is Marianne, ZLNKi for short, and I like drawing.

I graduated from The University of Lincoln(UK), in 2019, with a bachelor in illustration. My main focus was character design, concept art and sequential storytelling. The year after i graduated with an MA in Design, again with narrative illustration as my focus.

I mainly work digitally these days, having spent the past few years as a freelance illustrator working with Umble design firm. My contribution is illustrations for websites to boost image and personality.

I’m at my happiest when creating my own work to sell as posters, cards, mugs, stickers etc. and my current goal is to create enough pieces for a solo gallery show!

My style is characterized by vibrant colours and bold lines on the one hand, and soft muted scary imagery on the other. Regardless of the mood of each piece I always try to carefully balance the use of colour and maintain some sort of order in busy, rich in detail artworks.
